Présentation
The Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (UFV), founded in 1993, is a humanistic university dedicated to serving society by educating individuals for a truly human purpose. Since its foundation, the UFV has been guided by three key ideas:
Service to society for a human end – placing education at the service of people and the common good.
Integral formation – educating the whole person in all dimensions: intellectual, professional, ethical, social, and spiritual.
Accompaniment – walking alongside each student throughout their personal and academic journey.
This mission is carried out through the Seven Pillars of the UFV, which define its educational model:
Form to Transform – educating students to become agents of positive social change.
Accompaniment – providing personal guidance, support, and authentic human connection.
Learning by Doing – promoting active, experiential learning rooted in real-world practice.
Mandatory Professional Internships – ensuring every student completes hands-on professional experience as part of their degree.
Internationalization – fostering a global mindset through international programs, exchanges, and intercultural learning.
Complete University Experience – offering a rich campus life that integrates academic, social, cultural, and personal development.
Social Action – inspiring commitment to service, solidarity, and social transformation.
Together, these elements make the UFV a place where students not only gain knowledge, but discover their purpose, grow as human beings, and prepare to contribute meaningfully to the world.
